Premier League acca: A 12/1 four-fold for Saturday’s matches
Premier League Saturday tips 1085

There are seven fixtures scheduled to take place in the Premier League on Saturday, with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City in action.

The Premier League season is well underway and seven of this week’s fixtures from the top flight will take place on Saturday.

Bryan Mbeumo returns to the Gtech Community Stadium as Manchester United visit Brentford in the early kick-off, while Liverpool and Manchester City are both in 3pm action, with the Reds travelling to Crystal Palace and City hosting Burnley.

The evening brings two more matches, with Nottingham Forest returning from their Europa League efforts in Spain to host Sunderland, while Tottenham welcome winless Wolves to north London.

We’ve picked out four best bets for Saturday’s Premier League action, which can be combined into a fourfold paying at around 12/1.

Selections

  • Over 2.5 goals in Chelsea vs Brighton @ 3/5

  • Liverpool to win vs Crystal Palace @ 7/8

  • Sunderland double chance vs Nottingham Forest @ 1/1

  • Tottenham half-time/ full-time vs Wolves @ 23/20

Four-fold @ 12/1

Goals expected at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea suffered their first league defeat of the season last weekend, going down 2-1 at Manchester United after Robert Sanchez was sent off inside four minutes.

Sanchez remains suspended and Filip Jorgensen will deputise in goal. With limited game time under his belt, Brighton are likely to test his confidence, and he conceded in midweek against Lincoln in the EFL Cup.

There have been over 2.5 goals in each of Chelsea’s last five matches in all competitions, while the same bet has landed in the last five head-to-heads. Both teams have also scored in eight of the last 10 meetings.

Leg 1: Over 2.5 goals in Chelsea vs Brighton @ 3/5

Reds to retain winning feeling

Liverpool are enjoying a perfect start to the season, winning every match across all competitions, even if a few of those victories have come late on.

It’s hard to see that run ending at Selhurst Park. With Hugo Ekitike suspended after his bizarre red card in midweek, Alexander Isak is set for his first Premier League start, which only strengthens the visitors’ case.

Leg 2: Liverpool to win vs Crystal Palace @ 7/8

Black Cats to profit from tired hosts

Antony denied Forest victory in Spain on Thursday as they began their first European campaign in almost 30 years with a 2-2 draw against Real Betis in the Europa League, and Sunderland can look to take advantage of the hosts’ short turnaround.

Forest have not won since the opening day, adding to the pressure on new boss Ange Postecoglou to get off the mark.

Sunderland have already shown plenty of resilience, notably when rescuing a point with 10 men against Aston Villa last weekend. They should prove stubborn opponents again, making the double chance appealing.

Leg 3: Sunderland double chance vs Nottingham Forest @ 1/1

Routine win expected for Spurs

Tottenham have lost only once this season and face a Wolves side who remain without a point in the league.

Both sides won their midweek cup games but Spurs were afforded the luxury of being able to rotate their side more against lower-league opposition compared to Wolves, who went strong against Everton.

Spurs have scored first in six of their last seven matches and can be fancied to strike early again. Backing them to lead at half-time and convert that advantage into three points looks a solid play against struggling opposition.

Leg 4: Tottenham half-time/ full-time vs Wolves @ 23/20
