Crystal Palace will aim to spoil the occasion in what is Rob Edwards’ first match at the helm of Wolves when the two sides face off at Molineux on Saturday.
Winless in their opening 11 fixtures, Wolves have turned to former player Edwards in a bid to steer them clear of relegation danger this season.
Yet the new boss, recruited from Championship outfit Middlesbrough before the international break, is likely to gain a clearer sense of the scale of the task ahead on Saturday, as he looks to keep Wolves in the Premier League.
Palace have suffered only one defeat in their last eight meetings with Wolves and the Eagles should take all three points with them back to the capital.

Citizens to clips Magpies’ wings
In arguably the pick of Saturday’s games, Manchester City will look to continue their impressive Premier League form against Newcastle United when they meet at St James’ Park in the teatime kick-off.
City are unbeaten in their last 12 league games against Newcastle, with the Magpies’ last Premier League win over the Citizens having come back in January 2019.
The last time these two sides crossed paths was back in February, with Pep Guardiola’s side running out 4-0 winners at the Etihad Stadium.
Fresh off the back of guiding Norway to a place at the 2026 World Cup, in-form striker Erling Haaland might well prove the difference again and help City claim a valuable win to keep the pressure on frontrunners Arsenal at the top of the table.
