Premier League: A 6/1 Bet Builder for Arsenal v Liverpool

Premier League leaders Arsenal will round off the midweek action with a blockbuster clash with Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.

Arsenal will look to maintain their advantage at the top of the Premier League table when they welcome Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.

Ahead of Gameweek 21, the Gunners had a six-point gap over Manchester City and Aston Villa in second and third.

Liverpool are fourth and occupy the final Champions League spot, but Arne Slot’s men are eight points behind the Villans ahead of their trip to the capital.

They have it all to do against the league leaders and we have put together a Bet Builder for this clash in north London that pays out at more than 6/1 in the football betting.

Arsenal v Liverpool Bet Builder

  • Arsenal to win @ 4/7
  • Over 3.5 goals @ 15/8
  • Gabriel Magalhaes to have 1+ shot on target @ 7/4

Pays out at 6/1

Home advantage crucial for Arsenal

They often say that title-winning teams find a way to win no matter what and that can describe Arsenal’s 3-2 success over Bournemouth last time out.

The Gunners were pushed all the way on the south coast and looked in serious trouble at times, but the class of Declan Rice pushed them over the line in a tight game.

Thankfully for Mikel Arteta’s outfit, Thursday’s clash is at home and they are yet to lose in front of their own fans this season. Including an extra-time win over Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup, Arsenal have triumphed in 12-straight games at the Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool are unbeaten in nine, but back-to-back draws suggest they are still a level below their best and Arsenal should find a way to exploit them.

Leg 1: Arsenal to win @ 4/7

History to repeat itself between two English giants

The last meeting between the pair took place at the start of this season, with Liverpool winning 1-0 at Anfield. That fixture was a bit of an anomaly, as the previous three games had all contained three goals.

In fact, five of the last eight meetings between the pair have contained at least four goals. Arsenal have not kept a clean sheet in four successive games at home, while Liverpool have conceded six across their last three away matches in the league.

Another entertaining affair is expected as Liverpool try to put a dent in Arsenal’s title charge.

Leg 2: Over 3.5 goals @ 15/8

Reds’ set-piece woes may continue

Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes recently returned from injury against Aston Villa and the Brazilian has scored in two successive games since making his comeback.

His header against Villa was followed up with a powerful strike from a set-piece in the win at Bournemouth and he should get the chance to test Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.

Liverpool have conceded 12 non-penalty goals from set-pieces this season and recently sacked their coach in that department to try and improve matters.

Arsenal have scored 12 goals from set-pieces already this season, so expect Gabriel to have at least one shot on target.

Leg 3: Gabriel Magalhaes to have 1+ shot on target @ 7/4
