Fantasy football tips: Nine Gameweek 11 picks
Nine players you must consider for your Fantasy team this weekend.
Thiago Silva (Chelsea)
Chelsea have only conceded two goals in five matches under Graham Potter, including three clean sheets in a row against AC Milan (twice) and Wolves.
Only four teams have conceded fewer goals than the Blues across the whole Premier League campaign.
Aston Villa have the third-worst xG in the division and have only scored four goals in their last six games.
Aaron Cresswell (West Ham)
West Ham have the fourth-best xG against record in the Premier League so far this season and have been unlucky to only keep two clean sheets.
A trip to Southampton, who have only scored eight goals in their nine league games, offers the Hammers a great chance for their third shut-out of the campaign.
Cresswell ranks second in the Hammers squad for xAssists per 90.
Rayan Ait-Nouri (Wolves)
Nottingham Forest put in their most defensive performance of the season on Monday against Aston Villa, registering an xG of just 0.22.
Steve Cooper’s side have scored the second-fewest goals in the Premier League so far this season, only scoring once in four games on the road.
Ait-Nouri ranks highest for key passes and xAssists of all Wolves defenders.
Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal)
Martinelli scored and assisted in Arsenal’s win over Liverpool last weekend, his fourth goal and second assist of the season.
He has registered an xG + xAssist per 90 of 0.74, better than teammate Bukayo Saka as well as others such as Son Heung-min.
Leeds have conceded an xG of 2.75, 1.90 and 1.65 in their last three games.
Raheem Sterling (Chelsea)
Sterling has posted an xG per 90 of 0.52 so far this season, the 13th best of Premier League regulars.
That suggests he is capable of at least maintaining a record of three goals from seven league games so far this season.
Chelsea have scored eight goals in their last three games, and Sterling can benefit from playing in such an in-form side.
Leandro Trossard (Brighton)
Trossard has scored five goals and posted an xG per 90 minutes of 0.39 so far this season, both comfortably the highest in the Brighton squad.
He also scored a hat-trick in his last away game, at Anfield a fortnight ago.
Brighton travel to Brentford, who have conceded in seven of their nine league games this season, including three and five to Arsenal and Newcastle in the last month.
Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace)
Zaha has scored four goals in seven Premier League matches so far this season, a tally only bettered by nine players.
The forward also ranks 10th in the division for shots per game with 2.9.
He faces Leicester who have conceded more goals (24) than any other team this term.
Harry Kane (Tottenham)
Kane has scored in seven of his last eight league games, a run that has gone under the radar compared to Erling Haaland’s form.
Only Haaland has had more shots on target than the England captain, who also ranks second to the Norwegian for xG.
Everton have the fifth-worst xG against record in the league, conceding in six of their eight matches.
Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth)
Fulham have been terrible defensively in the last few weeks, conceding 11 goals in their last four games and going bottom of the league for xG against.
Solanke can take advantage for Bournemouth after registering two assists in last week’s comeback victory against Leicester.
The striker leads the way for xG + xA per 90 as well as shots in the Cherries squad.
