Back our 13/1 five-fold that includes football tips from the latest round of the EFL Cup.
Aston Villa to beat Burton {ODDS:310141741:17/20}
Aston Villa drew 1-1 with Reading on Saturday and were only denied victory after conceding a stoppage-time penalty.
That was Villa’s third straight draw, but they should return to winning ways against their League One opponents.
Burton have lost four of their six matches in all competitions so far, including back-to-back league defeats against Bradford and Oxford last week.
Fulham to beat Exeter {ODDS:310143729:1/4}
Fulham are a short price but are worth backing, having won seven of their last eight EFL Cup ties against lower-league opposition.
The Cottagers earned their first Premier League victory of the season against Burnley on Sunday and should follow that by beating a side from three divisions below.
Exeter have won just four of their 14 EFL Cup games since they were promoted to the Football League 10 years ago, and have failed to win a single second-round tie in that sequence.
Leeds to beat Preston {ODDS:310145041:10/11}
Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds earned their fifth win in six unbeaten matches this season as they thumped Norwich 3-0 away from home on Saturday.
Back at Elland Road, where they have won three from three, they look a great price to progress to the next round.
Preston have lost all three of their away games so far this season, failing to even score a goal.
Wolves to beat Sheffield Wednesday {ODDS:310148283:10/11}
Wolves impressed in their 1-1 draw at home to Manchester City on Saturday and are an enticing price to beat a team from a lower division.
The visitors have won each of their last six EFL Cup matches against lower-league sides and, with Leo Bonatini and Adama Traore likely to be among the changes made, will be strong enough to make that seven.
Sheffield Wednesday have lost five of their last seven EFL Cup matches against Premier League opposition and are also likely to make changes.
Walsall to beat Macclesfield {ODDS:310149467:7/10}
Walsall made it five victories from their opening six games this season with a 2-1 win away to Rochdale on Saturday.
Dean Keates’ side have won both of their matches at the Banks’ Stadium and have already beaten League Two Tranmere in the first round of the EFL Cup.
Macclesfield are second bottom of League Two, having won just two points in their five matches since promotion from the National League.
