EFL Cup third-round football tips for Wednesday 26 09 18

Back our 28/1 accumulator that is made up of football tips from fixtures in the EFL Cup third round.

Arsenal to beat Brentford and BTTS {ODDS:316351480:11/8}

Arsenal made it five straight wins in all competitions by beating Everton 2-0 at home on Sunday, which was also their 10th victory in their last 12 matches at the Emirates.

But the Gunners have kept just one clean sheet in seven so far this season and shipped two goals at home to Ukrainian side Vorskla in the Europa League last week.

Brentford have only once failed to find the net in 11 matches this season, so should at least score a goal against much-changed hosts.

Liverpool to beat Chelsea {ODDS:316344601:5/6}

Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Southampton last weekend was their seventh in seven matches in all competitions this season.

That run includes wins over both PSG and Tottenham, while the Reds have lost just one of their last 34 matches at Anfield.

Chelsea were held to a goalless draw at West Ham on Sunday, while a fringe side failed to impress in their 1-0 win away to PAOK last weekend.

Nottingham Forest to beat Stoke {ODDS:316346420:6/4}

Nottingham Forest recorded their third straight home win at the weekend by beating Rotherham 1-0.

Aitor Karanka’s side are unbeaten in their seven matches in all competitions at the City Ground and beat Newcastle at home in the previous round.

Stoke are still searching for their first away win of the season, having drawn two and lost two.

Watford to win or draw v Tottenham {ODDS:316348261:17/10}

Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Brighton on Saturday was their first victory in four matches in all competitions, but they are worth laying at Stadium MK, where home support will be sparse.

Spurs had lost their previous three matches, including a 2-1 defeat at Watford at the start of the month.

Isaac Success and Domingos Quina – goalscorers against Reading in the previous round – are both likely to come in for the Hornets, who have lost just one of their seven matches in all competitions this season, and they are good value to at least force penalties.
