Back our 12/1 five-fold, which includes tips from the opening round of the EFL Cup.
Charlton to beat Forest Green {ODDS:444340854:4/5}
Charlton have started the season with back-to-back victories on their return to the Championship.
The Addicks’ 3-1 win over Stoke last Saturday was their seventh in eight games at The Valley, while they had the second-best home record in League One last season.
Forest Green were fortunate to nick a point away to Walsall last weekend judging by their inferior xG, and have lost both of their EFL Cup ties against sides from higher divisions.
Rochdale to beat Bolton {ODDS:444350291:19/40}
Bolton fielded a team with no senior players and an average age of just 19 for their 0-0 draw at home to Coventry on Saturday, though their opponents did register an xG of 2.4 (experimental361) while having three goals disallowed.
Phil Parkinson has said he will attempt to reintegrate senior members of the squad on Tuesday but, of their few contracted players, only Remi Matthews, Jason Lowe and Luke Murphy are available.
Rochdale have taken four points from their opening two matches and are worth backing to capitalise on their visitors’ troubles.
Leeds to beat Salford {ODDS:444350795:8/15}
Marcelo Bielsa has said he will freshen up his squad for this game, with Mateusz Bogusz and Eddie Nketiah likely to come in for Pablo Hernandez and Patrick Bamford.
Leeds dominated their game against Nottingham Forest last weekend, registering 68 per cent possession and 15 attempts on goal, and should have been out of sight by the time of Lewis Grabban’s late equaliser.
They should easily have enough quality to see off a Salford side that were outplayed in a 2-0 defeat away to Crawley on Saturday.
Derby to beat Scunthorpe {ODDS:444351401:4/5}
Scunthorpe have made a dreadful start to life in League Two, losing 2-0 and 4-1 to Swindon and Cheltenham respectively in their opening two games.
The Iron have also lost six of their last seven EFL Cup ties against sides from League One or above.
Derby have won each of their last four ties against League Two sides and, having started the season with four points from two matches, look in decent shape.
Hull to beat Tranmere {ODDS:444354260:5/4}
Tranmere have suffered back-to-back defeats on their return to League One and their season is unlikely to pick up on Tuesday.
The Whites have lost 11 of their last 12 EFL Cup ties against sides from a higher division.
Hull responded to their opening-day defeat at Swansea with a 2-1 win over Reading last weekend and, at odds against, are worth siding with here.
