BTTS football tips for Tuesday 28 08 18

These BTTS football betting tips from this week's EFL Cup action should deliver goals, and - with this four-fold - profit.

Swansea v Crystal Palace {ODDS:310136641:4/5}

Roy Hodgson is likely to make plenty of changes to the Crystal Palace side that played at Watford on Sunday, increasing the chances of a Swansea goal considerably.

Mamadou Sakho is the likeliest of the visitor’s key defenders not to play, which should allow Swansea – who have only failed to score against Chelsea and Manchester United at home in the League Cup since 2008 – to find the net.

Alexander Sorloth, Jason Puncheon and Max Meyer will still form a potent attack, though, so expect the run of five consecutive BTTS matches between these two sides at the Liberty Stadium to continue.

Blackburn v Lincoln {ODDS:310138776:19/20}

Blackburn made just four changes in the first round at Carlisle, resulting in a 5-1 victory.

So against Lincoln, who have conceded in all of their last four League Two matches, Rovers should score at least one goal.

Lincoln have netted 14 goals in their last five, including four in the last round at Port Vale, so are a good bet to find the net themselves.

Middlesbrough v Rochdale {ODDS:310146410:17/20}

Middlesbrough drew 3-3 at home to Notts County in the last round, and anything close to a repeat would see this price for BTTS look massive.

Tony Pulis fielded a weakened side in that round, but Marvin Johnson, Marcus Tavernier and Ashley Fletcher still form a good attack. A home goal should arrive comfortably.

An attacking Rochdale team should take the game to their Championship hosts, which should leave the door open at one end, but ensure that they can extend their run of at least one goal in five of their last six games at the other.

Newport v Oxford {ODDS:310147012:8/11}

After beating Coventry 2-0 despite making eight changes in the last round, don’t expect Oxford to struggle for goals against Newport.

Karl Robinson’s side have scored and conceded in all of their last three league games, with striker Jonathan Obika to call upon if Karl Robinson elects for rotation again.

Newport have scored in 15 of their last 17 home matches, and won 4-1 at Cambridge in the last round.
