Birmingham to beat Barnsley
Second-bottom Barnsley have the third-worst home record in the Championship, having taken 19 points from 16 games.
The Tykes have lost four and drawn one of their last five matches in all competitions and are eight points from safety.
Birmingham are unbeaten in five having won back-to-back games against fourth-placed Nottingham Forest and Bristol City, who were on a four-game winning streak heading into the match.
Blackburn to beat Hull
Hull scored a late equaliser to draw 1-1 at Reading on Saturday in their second game without Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki, who have directly contributed to 34 of their 60 goals in all competitions this season.
The Tigers had lost each of their previous five, including a 5-1 home defeat to Brentford the day after the transfer window had closed.
Blackburn’s 1-0 defeat to third-placed Fulham was their first in 11 games at Ewood Park, having won five of their previous eight at home.
Nottingham Forest to beat Charlton
Nottingham Forest moved to within one point of the automatic promotion spots following their 2-0 victory over second-placed Leeds on Saturday evening.
That was a sixth victory in nine league games for Sabri Lamouchi’s side, who have dropped two points in their last five at the City Ground.
Charlton’s 3-1 defeat to fellow strugglers Stoke leaves them fourth-bottom, having taken three points from 12 winless away games in the Championship.
MK Dons to beat Lincoln
Lincoln’s 1-0 defeat at home to Rotherham was their fourth in a row, having also lost 2-1 at second-bottom Southend earlier this month.
The Imps’ only two victories in their last eight matches have come against out-of-form Blackpool and bottom-of-the-league Bolton.
MK Dons have taken seven points from their last three games, beating second-placed Wycombe 10 days ago.
Peterborough to beat Southend
Southend suffered their 19th defeat in 29 league games on Saturday, going down 2-1 away to a Blackpool side that hadn’t won in 10.
Sol Campbell’s side have only managed to pick up nine points from 16 away games this season, winning just twice.
Peterborough thumped fellow promotion candidates Oxford 4-0 on Saturday for their fifth straight victory, netting four goals for the third time during that sequence.
