Football Betting: Tips for Championship, League 1 & League 2

Cardiff to win or draw v Derby –

Cardiff won 2-1 at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening to go one point clear of third-placed Fulham.

Neil Warnock’s side have won 10 of their last 13 league games, while they have only lost to Wolves and Aston Villa in their last 17.

Derby have lost three consecutive matches and won just two of their last 13.

Wigan to beat Bristol Rovers –

Wigan beat Fleetwood 4-0 to record their seventh victory in nine matches and confirm promotion back to the Championship last Saturday.

The Latics need six points from their final three games to secure the title and, with the best away record in League One, are a good bet to notch another victory on Tuesday.

Bristol Rovers lost 2-0 at Rotherham in their last match and are without a win in four.

Blackburn to beat Doncaster –

Blackburn made it 13 games without defeat as they came from a goal down to beat Peterborough 3-1 last Thursday.

Tony Mowbray’s side have won nine league games out of 12 and need just three points to secure a return to the Championship.

Doncaster have only beaten relegation candidates MK Dons in their last four and have nothing to play for.

Accrington to beat Newport –

Accrington dispelled any doubt that they might ease off having already earned promotion by winning 4-0 at third-placed Wycombe at the weekend.

That result means Stanley need just one more point to secure the League Two title, having dropped just four points in a 15-match unbeaten run.

Newport have won just two of their last 16 league games, losing three of their last five.

Forest Green to beat Yeovil –

Forest Green all but secured safety with a 4-1 win at home to bottom-of-the-league Chesterfield on Saturday.

Mark Cooper’s side have now won three of their last five league games, including both of their last two.

Yeovil were hammered 4-1 at Notts County last time out, and have lost four consecutive home games without scoring.
