Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal) –
With Leicester suffering a crisis in form and injuries, Aubameyang is likely to extend his impressive start to life in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old has scored eight goals since his January move from Borussia Dortmund, and would likely have more had Arsene Wenger not rested key players in league matches.
Having netted a brace playing to the left of central striker Alexandre Lacazette on Sunday, Aubameyang should get several chances against the hosts’ chaotic defence.
Jamie MacLaren (Hibernian) –
MacLaren and Florian KIamberi have impressed as a front two since signing for Hibs in January, but at a longer price, the former is a better bet to score in Wednesday’s Edinburgh derby.
The Australian forward has scored five goals for his new club, including in two of his last three matches.
Hearts have conceded seven goals in their last three games, so are vulnerable to the visitors’ strong attack.
Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) –
With Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale missing for Real Madrid’s trip to Sevilla, the onus is on Karim Benzema to be in the goals.
The Frenchman has had a quiet season, but scored a brace against Bayern Munich last week, and should profit from what is likely be a high-scoring match.
Sevilla have conceded 22 goals in seven games against La Liga’s top four this season, as well as conceding five goals for the sixth time this season in last month’s Copa Del Rey final against Barcelona.
