Football Betting: Premier League, EFL anytime goalscorers

Britt Assombalonga (Middlesbrough) –

Assombalonga’s flurry of form in the last fortnight has helped Middlesbrough seal their place in the Championship play-offs.

The striker has been out of favour for most of Tony Pulis’ stint in charge, but has scored two goals in two games to surely seal his place in the starting XI for the weekend’s game at Ipswich and beyond.

The Tractor Boys have shipped nine goals in their last four home matches, so are vulnerable to the in-form forward.

Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City) –

Jesus is an obvious pick, but the numbers he has posted in the absence of Sergio Aguero mean he is eye-catching value even at a price well short of evens.

The Brazilian has scored in four consecutive starts in all competitions, his best run in front of goal since signing for Manchester City.

With the champions’ famed supply line behind him, Jesus should score at least one of a few City goals against Huddersfield, who have only managed clean sheets against Swansea and Watford in 2018.

Luis Alberto (Lazio) –

With Ciro Immobile out injured, the onus is on Alberto to do the business for Lazio on Sunday.

The former Liverpool attacker has netted four goals in his last seven matches, and could even be deployed as a centre-forward in his team-mate’s absence.

Even if he plays as a secondary striker, as is standard, he is a good bet to score against Atalanta, who have conceded six goals in three away matches at top-four Serie A teams.
