After landing his 12/1 BTTS four-fold on Saturday, Adam Drury is back with more football betting tips for Tuesday’s EFL action.
QPR v Bristol City –
QPR have scored in 10 consecutive Championship matches at Loftus Road, with both teams finding the net in each of the last five.
After going down 7-1 at West Brom on Saturday, that sequence should extend for the visit of Bristol City.
Lee Johnson’s side have scored and conceded in two of their three league matches this term, and drew 1-1 at this venue last season.
Luton v Southend –
Luton’s last two league matches have both produced goals at both ends, and more of the same is likely for the visit of Southend.
The hosts are yet to keep a clean sheet this season, and have not failed to score in a home league match since October 2017.
Southend’s first three matches of the season were 2-3, 1-1 and 2-4, before Saturday’s 2-0 win over Bradford. Another clean sheet is unlikely.
Rochdale v Barnsley –
After Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Fleetwood, both teams have scored in all three of Rochdale’s league matches so far this season.
The hosts have scored seven goals in all competitions this term, but are prone to the “rubbish” defending manager Keith Hill bemoaned after the 1-4 defeat to Peterborough in their last home game.
Barnsley were held 0-0 by a defensive AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, but had previously scored six goals in two league games.
Cambridge v Exeter –
Given that their last three matches have finished 3-2, 1-4 and 2-2, BTTS is always a good bet when Cambridge are involved.
Joe Dunne’s side have scored 17 goals in their last five home league games, but have kept a clean sheet in just one of those matches.
Given there have been goals at both ends in three of Exeter’s four matches this season, including Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Newport, this looks a good bet.
