FA Cup Final Tips: A 9/1 Bet Builder for Chelsea v Man City

Manchester City have lost the last two FA Cup finals, against Crystal Palace and Manchester United, so Pep Guardiola's team will be desperate to avoid an unwanted hat-trick when they face Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday.

It has been a difficult season for the Londoners, who will see cup glory as the only way of getting into Europe next term, which should ensure a keenly contested battle this weekend

The pair have 15 triumphs between them in this competition and in preparation for Saturday’s showpiece we’ve prepared a three-leg Bet Builder which will return at 9/1 if successful.

Chelsea vs Manchester City Bet Builder Tips

  • Manchester City to win in 90 minutes @ 7/10

  • Antoine Semenyo to score at any time @ 7/4

  • Moises Caicedo to be booked @ 19/10

    Pays out at 9/1

Citizens to finish the job in 90 minutes

The FA Cup has provided Chelsea with their only positive news over the last couple of months as three of the four victories they have mustered from their last 15 matches have come in theis competition.

Consequently it is difficult to oppose Manchester City in Saturday’s Wembley showpiece, even though they were beaten as favourites in the last two finals, byt Crystal Palace and Manchester United.

It looks as if Pep Guardiola’s side are running out of games in their pursuit of Premier League leaders Arsenal, but there are few holes to pick in their form as a pulsating 3-3 draw at Everton was the only game they have failed to win in their last nine.

Consecutive 3-0 wins over Brentford and Palace stand them in good stead and they can see off a Chelsea team who have been on a downward spiral since Christmas.

Leg 1: Manchester City to win in 90 minutes @ 7/10

Semenyo ready to make his mark

After starring for Bournemouth in the first half of the Premier League campaign, Antoine Semenyo has proved an excellent addition to City’s attacking options and he has shown that scoring goals does not have to be the sole responsibility of the prolific Erling Haaland.

The Ghanaian forward has notched six times for the Citizens in the league, the most recent of which was the opener in Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Palace, while he was also on target in their 4-0 FA Cup quarter-final victory over Liverpool.

This looks like an excellent opportunity for him to make another telling contribution.

Leg 2: Antoine Semenyo to score at any time @ 7/4

Caicedo to earn another yellow card

Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has picked up 20 yellow cards playing either for his club or Ecuador this season and he is a big price to be handed another caution in Saturday’s big game.

Caicedo was booked in the semi-final victory over Leeds and in the Blues’ two most recent Premier League games, against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool, so it would not be a huge surprise if his disciplinary record got even worse this weekend.

Leg 3: Moises Caicedo to be booked @ 19/10
