Here are four football tips that Guy Giles thinks you should consider for England’s second-round match against Germany at Wembley on Tuesday.
England to score first
England scored the opening goal in two of their three group matches, and also hit the post three times within the first 15 minutes of matches.
Germany, meanwhile, have been slow starters at Euro 2020, conceding the first goal in all three of their matches to date.
Under 2.5 goals
England have kept things very tight in their three matches so far, with this bet landing in all three, including three clean sheets.
There were three or more goals in two of Germany’s group games, but this looks likely to be a tight, tactical battle.
The last two meetings between England and Germany ended 1-0 and 0-0.
Raheem Sterling to score
Sterling has been England’s only source of goals so far, netting winners against Croatia and Czech Republic.
He should be a threat on Tuesday against a Germany defence that has conceded five goals and is susceptible to runners in behind.
Matthias Ginter to be carded
Ginter is one of five Germany players on a yellow card coming into this game, and he looks a prime candidate for a second on Tuesday.
Playing on the right of a back three, he will have to contend with the pace of Sterling and the presence of Harry Kane.
