SNF: 5 football tips for Saturday evening's matches
Fund your big night out with our 32/1 accumulator, which features football tips from Serie A, the Premier League, Ligue 1 and the Primeira Liga.
Juventus to beat Fiorentina (17:00)
Given that Juventus have won 11 of their 12 league games, this is an obvious bet.
Max Allegri’s side have won all of their Serie A away matches, including a 2-0 win at Milan last time out on the road.
Fiorentina are winless in six, so have little chance of holding the league leaders.
Manchester United to beat Southampton (17:30)
Southampton have won just four of their last 30 home matches, a dreadful record that is unlikely to be improved against Manchester United.
For all of their struggles, the visitor’s away form isn’t bad.
They have won five of their last eight on the road – including at Juventus – with visits to Chelsea and Manchester City among their three slip-ups.
Nice to beat Guingamp (19:00)
Nice notched their fifth straight victory in all competitions last weekend as they beat Lille 2-0 at home.
That was also the fourth consecutive clean sheet in Ligue 1 for Patrick Vieira’s side, who have the second-best travelling record in the league.
Guingamp are bottom of the table and have picked up just two points from their six home games this season – fewer than any other Ligue 1 side.
Montpellier to beat Monaco (19:00)
Monaco’s 1-0 victory over Caen, their first under manager Thierry Henry, has done little to lift the gloom that surrounds them this season.
They followed that result with a 2-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday and have won just once in their last 18 matches in all competitions.
They also have the second-worst home record in Ligue 1, having taken just three points in seven league games, so Montpellier, who have lost just one of their last 13 league games, look great value.
Braga to beat Moreirense (20:30)
Braga lost away at Porto in their last league game, but that is their only defeat of the season so far and they’ve won four and drawn one of their five home games.
In fact, they’ve only lost once on their home ground in 20 games dating back to August 2017.
Expect them to see off Moreirense, who are in decent form but have lost three of their last four away league games.
