England (-1) to beat Czech Republic (19:45)

England’s only defeat in 18 home games – competitive or non-competitive – was against Spain in their Nations League opener last September.

The Three Lions have won their last 14 qualifiers at Wembley, covering a one-goal handicap in 12 of those.

With in-form forwards Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho all likely to feature, it makes sense to eke some value by going for the -1.

Czech Republic have lost three of their last six away games, including a 4-0 defeat to Australia last summer and a 5-1 hammering against Russia in September.

France (-2) to beat Moldova (19:45)

This should be a stroll for world champions France.

Les Bleus have lost just one of their last 15 competitive games, against the Netherlands in the Nations League in November.

Moldova finished below Belarus and Luxembourg in their Nations League group and are winless in their last 20 qualifying matches.

Luxembourg to beat Lithuania (19:45)

Luxembourg have lost just two of their last 11 home games in a run that includes victories over Hungary and Georgia and draws with Senegal and Bulgaria.

They represent excellent value against Lithuania, who have lost eight on the spin and 19 of their last 24 away games.

Portugal to beat Ukraine (19:45)

Portugal welcome back Cristiano Ronaldo for the first time since the World Cup and come into their opening qualifier in decent form.

Fernando Santos’ side are unbeaten in six, having topped a Nations League group that contained Italy and Poland, while their only defeat in 13 came against Uruguay in the first knock-out round of the World Cup last summer.

Ukraine lost 4-1 to Slovakia in the Nations League in their last competitive away game and their only victory in four came at home to Czech Republic.
