4 football tips for Tuesday's international matches
Back our 10/1 four-fold, which features football tips for the latest round of fixtures in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Italy (-3) to beat Liechtenstein
Italy made an impressive start to their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign, beating in-form Finland 2-0 at home on Saturday.
The Azzurri are unbeaten in their last 13 games in Italy and beat Liechtenstein 5-0 at home when the two sides last met in the 2018 World Cup qualfiers.
Liechtenstein have lost 10 straight competitive matches, conceding four or more goals on six separate occasions.
Spain (-3) to beat Malta
This should be a rout. Malta’s 2-1 victory over Faroe Islands on Saturday was their first in 16 matches, but they have no chance of avoiding defeat on Tuesday.
The hosts were beaten 11 times in that sequence and lost by four or more goals to Kosovo, Finland and England.
Spain have won five of their last seven matches after beating Norway at the weekend, and have beaten Croatia 6-0 and Argentina 6-1 during the last year.
Republic of Ireland to beat Georgia & under 2.5 goals
Ireland have lost just four of their last 14 matches at the Aviva Stadium and, despite labouring to a 1-0 win away to Gibraltar in Mick McCarthy’s first game back in charge on Saturday, should be backed to win this.
The hosts beat Georgia 1-0 when the two sides last met in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers and, given they haven’t scored more than twice in 13 matches, under 2.5 goals also looks a safe bet.
Georgia started with a 2-0 defeat at home to Switzerland at the weekend and are winless in 12 qualifiers.
Romania to beat Faroe Islands to nil
Romania were beaten 2-1 by Sweden on Saturday, but that was the first time they had conceded in four matches.
They have won eight of their last 11 home games and kept four straight clean sheets.
Faroe Islands have lost six and drawn two of their last eight away games, failing to score in five of those.
