Had you placed a £10 stake on Will Rook’s EFL football betting tips for the 2018/19 season, your profit would be:

Acca: £620

Singles: £200.90

Luton to beat Plymouth

Luton’s excellent home form continued last weekend as they beat Wycombe 2-0 in the FA Cup first round.

The was the Hatters’ ninth victory in an 11-game unbeaten run at Kenilworth Road and it is difficult to see them losing on home turf.

Plymouth, who have the worst away record in League One and have picked up just five points on the road, should make this the biggest banker of the day.

Sunderland to beat Wycombe

Sunderland notched their eighth straight victory in all competitions as they beat Morecambe in the EFL Trophy in midweek.

That run of form has seen the Black Cats, who are unbeaten at home in the league, climb to second in the League One table.

Wycombe have lost four and drawn two of their last six matches on the road in all competitions and their only victory away from home in League One came in August against bottom-of-the-league Bradford.

Bury to beat Stevenage

Bury extended their unbeaten run to six matches in all competitions with a 3-1 victory over League One Fleetwood in the EFL Trophy in midweek, which was also their third straight win.

The Shakers have scored the second-most goals in the division this season with 28 and have the best xG figures in League Two, meaning they are creating more quality opportunities than any other side.

They should ease past a Stevenage side that has won just two of their last eight matches in all competitions, having failed to score in any of the remaining six.

Northampton to beat Exeter

Northampton lost for only the second time in 10 games under Keith Curle last weekend, as they went down 3-2 to league leaders Lincoln in the FA Cup.

The Cobblers had won six of their previous seven matches in all competitions, with their only other defeat coming away to second-placed MK Dons.

They are a generous price at out-of-form Exeter, who had lost three on the spin prior to their an EFL Trophy win over Bristol Rovers in midweek.

Forest Green to beat Morecambe

Forest Green were beaten 2-1 away to table-toppers Lincoln last time out in the league, but that was only their second defeat of the season.

Mark Cooper’s side had won back-to-back matches against fourth- and fifth-placed Tranmere and Exeter prior to that result, while they remain one of just two sides yet to lose at home this season.

Morecambe have won just two of their last 10 matches in all competitions, against out-of-form Yeovil and Carlisle.
