Two European heavyweights clash in the Club World Cup final, as Conference League holders Chelsea take on Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.
The MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, plays host to the final of the revamped FIFA Club World Cup, and two European champions from the 2024/25 season are set to lock horns.
Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain have dispatched some of Europe’s biggest clubs en route to the final, with the most successful side in Club World Cup history, Real Madrid, their latest victims.
Chelsea, who won the Conference League last season, have enjoyed a more favourable run to Sunday’s showdown, with Benfica being their only European opponent

PSG to get the job done
PSG were handed one of the toughest draws in the Club World Cup, but Luis Enrique’s side have navigated meetings with three European giants with relative ease, and they look set to add Chelsea to their list of victims on Sunday.
Les Parisiens have beaten Atletico Madrid (group stage), Bayern Munich (quarter-finals), and Real Madrid (semi-finals) by an aggregate scoreline of 10-0 so far this tournament, and they have conceded just one goal in their last eight competitive games.
Chelsea have enjoyed a more favourable run of games, but they haven’t looked particularly incisive going forward and their single meeting with European opposition saw Benfica take them to extra-time.
The Blues haven’t beaten PSG in any of their last five meetings, and the Champions League holders are justified favourites to lift their first-ever Club World Cup trophy.
Leg 1: PSG to lift the trophy @ 3/5
Dembele to play starring role
One man set to play a starring role is Ousmane Dembele, who missed the entire group stage with a thigh injury but has announced his return to the fray in emphatic fashion.
He scored off the bench against Bayern Munich and registered a goal and an assist in PSG’s 4-0 thrashing of Real Madrid last time out.
This adds to his 45 goal contributions in all competitions from the end of last season, and he has increasingly played the role of provider for the French champions.
He assisted twice in PSG’s Champions League final win and has seven assists in his last 12 competitive games for the club, despite only starting nine of those fixtures.
Leg 2: Ousmane Dembele to assist 1+ goals @ 9/4
Kvaratskhelia to let fly
Another PSG attacker set to catch the eye is Khvicha Kvaraskhelia, who has proven a menace to opponents through the entire competition.
The Georgia international has had a competition-high 21 shots on goal in his six appearances, including five attempts against Madrid in the semi-final.
Kvaraskhelia has had at least three shots in five of his six Club World Cup games and in nine of his last 11 in all competitions, and he should be a threat again.
Leg 3: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to have 3+ shots @ 30/100
Pedro to test the goalkeeper
For Chelsea, Liam Delap returns from suspension for the final, but he is likely to be kept out of the starting lineup after Joao Pedro’s match-winning performance in his first start for the Blues.
Pedro scored both goals against Fluminense, and he hit the target with one of his two attempts off the bench against Palmeiras.
Leg 4: Joao Pedro to have 1+ shots on target @ 4/6
