Walsall to beat Port Vale –

Port Vale must not lose this game to stand a chance of avoiding relegation from League One, but the signs do not look good.

Michael Brown’s side have lost eight of their last 10 away matches, including all of their last five, and have not even scored in their last three.

Walsall, meanwhile, have won seven of their last nine home matches, including victories over two other teams in the relegation zone, Chesterfield and Swindon.

Only defeated at the Bescot Stadium by Fleetwood in that run of matches, the Saddlers are a good bet to record another home victory, and sink their visitors.

Arsenal to beat Leicester –

After FA Cup success over the weekend, Arsenal should be on a high coming into this pivotal Premier League game.

And despite their recent strife, the Gunners’ home record is good.

They have only failed to win two home league games since November – one of which came against Manchester City – and have scored 11 goals in their last four matches at the Emirates Stadium.

Leicester, meanwhile, have lost six of their last eight away matches, despite improvement under Craig Shakespeare.

This should be a comfortable night for the hosts. 

Tottenham to beat Crystal Palace –

Crystal Palace are clearly in good shape, so this tip is based entirely on Tottenham’s flawless recent league form.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have won seven consecutive Premier League matches, scoring 22 goals in that run, and will keep the pressure on Chelsea at the top with another victory.

Harry Kane, meanwhile, has scored in both starts since returning from injury, while Son Heung-Min has netted five goals in his last four league games.

Spurs have proved their ability to grind out difficult away victories at Burnley and Swansea recently, and they should be able to do similar here.
