For every West Ham game this season, the We Are West Ham Podcast will give their football tips to try and win money for charity.
We’ve brought together two Hammers fans from the We Are West Ham podcast who will provide their football bets for every West Ham game in the Premier League this season in an attempt to win money for a charity that is close to their hearts.
The podcast is run by two Hammers fans: Will Pugh and James Jones.
We will place a £50 bet on each of their selections, with all profits donated to the charity of their choice. This year, the lads will be donating to DT38 and Bobby Moore Fund.
Next up for the Hammers is the visit of treble winners Manchester City.
James Jones: Over 3.5 goals, over 8.5 corners and Mohammed Kudus to score 9/1
James says: “The Hammers have scored eight goals in their last three matches, and all those games went over 2.5 goals. Manchester City are rarely shy in front of goal and have found the net seven times in their last two matches. Over 3.5 goals feels the right bet for this tie. I think there will be periods in the game where we see plenty of end-to-end stuff, so I am backing the over 8.5 corners to come in as well. Kudus scored his fifth goal in his last three starts for club and country as Ghana beat Liberia 3-1 in a friendly on Tuesday so I’m backing him to continue his sparkling form.”
Will Pugh: Kurt Zouma to score, over 3.5 goals and a penalty to be awarded 50/1
Will says: “Like James, I see plenty of goals in this game given both sides recent prowess in front of goal. I feel it’s just a matter of time before Zouma gets on the score sheet again, he is so dominant in the air and his physically imposing stature gives me great confidence he will be on the end of a JWP dead ball soon! Finally, with this likely to be a high tempo and fiery encounter I’m predicted a penalty, hopefully for us!”
