For every West Ham game this season, the We Are West Ham Podcast will give their football tips to try and win money for charity.
We’ve brought together two Hammers fans from the We Are West Ham podcast who will provide their football bets for every West Ham game in the Premier League this season in an attempt to win money for a charity that is close to their hearts.
The podcast is run by two Hammers fans: Will Pugh and James Jones.
We will place a £50 bet on each of their selections, with all profits donated to the charity of their choice. This year, the lads will be donating to DT38 and Bobby Moore Fund.
Next up for the Hammers is a trip to Aston Villa.
James Jones: West Ham double chance, Lucas Paqueta to score or assist and Jarrod Bowen to score 10/1
James says: “Both sides will want to continue their strong starts to the season as the League gets back underway. I thought West Ham did well to fight back for their draw against an excellent Newcastle side and back them here to at least hold Villa and maybe sneak an away win. Paqueta is one of our most skilful players and I fancy a goal or assist from the Brazilian. Bowen has 5 goals in 8 league appearances, and I always fancy him to score whoever the opposition!”
Will Pugh: Under 3.5 goals, Mohammed Kudus to score or assist and Edson Alvarez to be carded 20/1
Will says: “Kudus had a massive impact when he came on as a sub in the Newcastle game and grabbed the equaliser. I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts this weekend and I’m getting behind him for a goal or an assist against Villa. Alvarez has been away on international duty and apparently hasn’t trained much so he might be a yard off the pace which could lead to a late challenge and a card shown. Finally, I think both sides will be desperate to avoid defeat and so I am predicting a tight match with less than 3.5 goals in total”.
