Champions League tips: A 22/1 four-fold for Tuesday’s fixtures
Champions League Tuesday tips

Tuesday sees four Champions League play-off second leg matches, as eight teams battle it out to reach the last-16 of Europe's premier club competition.

Newcastle United will expect to progress comfortably after a 6-1 first-leg success at Qarabag, but the other three ties remain in the balance.

We have a four-fold to consider for Tuesday’s action which, if successful, will return at around 22/1.

Tuesday’s Champions League Tips

  • Atletico Madrid to win and BTTS @ 8/5

  • Bayer Leverkusen vs Olympiakos – Goal Band 1-2 @ 7/5

  • Inter Milan vs Bodo Glimt – Francesco Esposito Anytime Goalscorer @ 10/11

  • Newcastle United to win to nil @ 1/1

    Pay 22/1

Atletico to prevail in a thriller

Club Brugge once again showed their attacking threat in last week’s first leg in Belgium, coming back from 2-0 and 3-2 to eventually draw with Atletico Madrid.

A trip to the Metropolitano will be a more difficult test, but Ivan Leko’s side have already shown this season that they can cause the Spanish giants problems.

Brugge averaged almost two goals per game in the league format and will believe they can score in Madrid, but Atleti should prove too strong overall.

Diego Simone’s squad have scored eight goals in their last two home matches, including a 4-2 success over Espanyol on Saturday.

Leg 1: Atletico Madrid to win and BTTS @ 8/5

Goals at a premium in Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen were slightly fortunate to leave Athens with a victory last week, with Olympiacos registering 13 shots to the visitors’ eight.

The hosts had a goal ruled out in the first half and it then took the Bundesliga side until the hour mark to make the breakthrough, with Patrik Schick scoring twice in a 2-0 away win.

That should be enough for Leverkusen to progress and they may elect to keep things tight and frustrate Olympiacos, who managed just 10 goals in eight games in the league stage.

Kasper Hjulmand’s side lost 1-0 at Union Berlin at the weekend and there have been 1-2 goals in three of their last four matches.

Leg 2: Goal Band 1-2 @ 7/5

Esposito to strike for Nerazzurri

Bodo/Glimt’s 3-1 success over Inter Milan was the result of last week, with the Norwegians now traveling to the San Siro as they look to knock out last season’s beaten finalists.

Francesco Pio Esposito scored Inter’s only goal of the first leg and that came off the back of a strike in the recent 3-2 Serie A success over Juventus.

The Italian has seven goals in all competitions this season and could play a key role if the Nerazzurri are to overturn the two-goal deficit and reach the last-16.

Leg 3: Francesco Esposito Anytime Goalscorer @ 10/11

Magpies to keep Qarabag at bay

An emphatic win in Azerbaijan last week has put Newcastle on the brink of joining the other five English teams in the last-16.

Eddie Howe is likely to make a raft of changes to try and keep his squad fresh ahead of a big Premier League home clash with Everton this coming weekend.

That team selection makes it hard to select a player bet, but the Magpies still should be good enough to see off Qarabag, who have failed to score in their last two Champions League away games.

Leg 4: Newcastle United to win to nil @ 1/1
