Continental Breakfast: 5 picks from Sunday's European action
We've got your weekend bet covered with this five-fold accumulator that comes from Serie A, Ligue 1, the Bundesliga and La Liga.
Lazio to beat Sassuolo (14:00) –
Lazio bounced back from five games without a victory by winning their last two, including the 5-1 demolition of Steaua in the Europa League.
The Biancocelesti have the third-best away record in Serie A, having won eight and drawn two of their 13 matches on the road.
Sassuolo were hammered 7-0 by Juventus two weeks ago and are winless in seven games.
Bordeaux to beat Nice (14:00) –
Bordeaux were beaten 1-0 by Marseille last weekend, but had won four consecutive league games prior to that defeat.
Gus Poyet’s side have won back-to-back matches at the Matmut Atlantique and beat Lyon 3-1 a month ago.
Nice’s 1-0 defeat at Lokomotiv Moscow on Thursday was their fifth loss in six matches in all competitions, and their seventh game without victory away from home.
RB Leipzig to beat Cologne (17:00) –
Leipzig have the second-best home record in the Bundesliga, having won seven and drawn three of their 11 league games at the Red Bull Arena.
Against the division’s worst away side, Ralph Hassenhuttl’s side look decent value.
Cologne are without a win in four and have picked up just five points from their 11 away games this season.
Juventus to beat Atalanta (17:00) –
Juventus have dropped just two points and conceded one goal in their 12-match unbeaten run in Serie A.
Max Allegri’s side have won six and drawn one of their last seven league games at the Allianz Stadium, after thrashing Sassuolo 7-0 last time out.
Atalanta were beaten 3-2 by Dortmund in their last away game and could only draw at fourth-bottom Crotone before that.
Valencia to beat Real Sociedad (17:30) –
Sociedad’s 2-1 loss at Salzburg in the Europa League on Thursday was their fourth consecutive away defeat in all competitions.
La Real have won just three of their 11 away games this season and were beaten 3-2 in the reverse fixture in September.
Valencia have recovered from three consecutive league defeats to win back-to-back games and have the third-best home record in La Liga.
