Rosenborg and Copenhagen should make it through safely, plus more tips in our latest European five-fold.
HNK Rijeka to beat The New Saints – {ODDS:169992816:4/11}
It’s looking bleak for The New Saints, who have only once made it past the second qualifying round of either European competition in 14 seasons.
They have also failed to record a win in 13 matches at this stage, losing 10.
So Rijeka, who won the first leg 2-0, should record another comfortable victory.
APOEL Nicosia to beat F91 Dudelange – {ODDS:169989104:1/1}
Dudelange have been eliminated at the first hurdle in each of their last six European forays, only once reaching the third qualifying round in 22 attempts.
They have also lost nine of their last 13 matches on the continent and are a good price to be beaten again.
APOEL won the first leg 1-0 and, considering that they have made it to the play-off round four years on the spin, a similar result should be expected.
Rosenborg to beat Dundalk –{ODDS:169989613:8/15}
Although they reached the play-off round last season, don’t expect a similar performance from Dundalk this time around.
Prior to that, the Irish side had won just one qualifier in nine – a run stretching back to 1982.
They are also winless in their last seven European away matches and, worse yet, Rosenborg have made the third qualifying round in each of their last 10 Champions League campaigns.
FC Copenhagen to beat MSK Zilina – {ODDS:169990691:4/11}
Copenhagen won the first leg 3-1 and I’m backing them to come through for us again this week.
Remarkably, the Danes are on a 45-match unbeaten run at home in all competitions, winning 35.
Zilina, who have only made it past the second qualifying round on two of the last six occasions, stand no chance.
NK Maribor to beat Zrinjski Mostar – {ODDS:169986493:7/10}
Having failed to win a match in their last three European campaigns, it doesn’t look good for Zrinjski Mostar.
The Bosnians have also lost four away legs on the spin and were, coincidentally, knocked out by Maribor in 2014/15 at the same stage.
Considering Darko Milanic’s side took a 2-1 away win from the first leg and have made it through five of their last six third-qualifying round encounters, history looks likely to repeat itself.
A £10 bet on this five-fold accumulator returns £96.94*.
