5 Premier League picks: Arsenal to avenge Southampton defeat against Bournemouth

Arsene Wenger's side to respond accordingly at the Emirates and four other festive accumulator selections

21/20 – Crystal Palace to beat Swansea

Crystal Palace have won three and drawn two of their last five games, leaving them in fantastic form ahead of Swansea’s visit to Selhurst Park.

While the Swans managed to win their first match since October on Boxing Day, a scrappy 1-0 against West Brom hardly means they are back to their best.

They have scored just 16 goals in 18 games and considering Palace won the last time these two met, Alan Pardew’s side are a very good price to do so again on Monday.

5/2 – Everton to draw with Stoke

Everton and Stoke are two exciting but inconsistent teams, which is why they are mid-table and not pushing on for Champions League places.

The Toffees have only won one in their last five and Stoke have managed two in the same spell, although those victories came against the two Manchester sides.

The last five games between the two clubs have produced two wins for each and one draw, while they are also level on points in the Premier League.

5/2 – Norwich to draw with Aston Villa

Two strugglers meet at Carrow Road and honours will probably end even between Norwich and Aston Villa.

Remi Garde’s side have stopped losing every week – drawing three of their last four – but they are still yet to win since the first game of the season.

Norwich, meanwhile, are up and down at the moment. They impressively drew with Arsenal and beat Manchester United, but have also lost to Watford and been despatched by Spurs in recent games.

2/5 – Arsenal to beat Bournemouth

Arsenal being battered by Southampton was the shock of Boxing Day and they require a response against Bournemouth on Monday.

The Cherries have won three and drew three of their last six, but their attacking style may not flourish at the Emirates.

The Gunners’ form prior to the result at St Mary’s was excellent and, even without Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla, they should win comfortably.

39/20 – Chelsea to beat Manchester United

Manchester United are without a win in five, while Chelsea have only managed one victory in that space of time.

United have lost their last three games – against Norwich, Bournemouth and Stoke – and while the Blues only drew against Watford last time out, they really should have won and have been improved in recent weeks.

Chelsea have an excellent record against United recently, winning five and drawing three of their last eight meetings. Away win.

A £10 bet on the five-fold accumulator returns £1074.18*.
