Two surprising scorers meant the bumper jackpot of £50,000 went unclaimed on Saturday.
Plenty correctly predicted the first teams to score in the bottom two divisions, with Wigan Athletic the most popular selection in League One and Luton Town only marginally behind Notts County in League Two.
However, just one per cent of players backed Crystal Palace’s first league goal to be the first of the afternoon against defending champions Chelsea, while not many saw low-scoring Barnsley notching so early against defensively-sound Middlesbrough.

The dark horses in the top two divisions meant that only three players got three out of four, with two let down by the Premier League and the other falling short in the Championship.
If you were one of the three to just miss out, tweet us @betway using the hashtag #4ToScore with a screenshot of your selections and we’ll reward you with a £10 free bet.
This weekend’s game is already open for submissions here, while our writers – who tipped two out of four last time out – will be back with their top tips for each division on Thursday.
Best of luck!
