Here’s five of the best picks to boost your winnings during DreamHack Las Vegas...
The dust from the post Major shuffle has settled and Las Vegas will be the battle ground to see who comes out on top.
Na’Vi vs mousesports
Na’Vi’s eigth place finish at the Major is by no means a determining factor for how well the CIS team will fare at DreamHack Las Vegas.
They were playing incredible CS, beating Mouz, SK and EnVyUs with ease in the early stages and it was the eventual winners, Astralis, who were barely able to stop them in their tracks.
It comes as no surprise then that they’re clear favourites in their opening match against the German side.
Na’Vi edge them out in almost every department: firepower, tactics, and star power, they have arguably the world’s best player, s1mple.
Mouz’ one saving grace is NiKo. It’s his last LAN with the team and he’ll be playing free of pressure, allowing him to go for aggressive peaks and catch Na’Vi unaware.
That being said one player vs a well organised and skilled team can only go one way, that is, in Na’Vi’s favour.

Fnatic vs Gambit
Out of all of DreamHack Las Vegas’ opening matches, Fnatic vs Gambit is the most unpredictable.
The last time these teams faced off was during the quarter finals of the ELEAGUE Major and the Swedes came out on top, winning two maps to one.
Since then, Fnatic have on paper strengthened their line-up by adding JW and flusha, reforming a line-up that was at one point the world’s best team.
Usually Gambit would go away, watch the demo’s and learn how Fnatic play, but with the recent roster changes not even Fnatic themselves know how they play.
Their loose playstyle relies on winning aim duels and mid round calls, making it hard to counter – Gambit will never know who’s lurking, going for entries or which bombsite will be hit.
It’s for this reason Fnatic are favourites to win their opening match in Las Vegas.

Astralis vs compLexity
Currently, Astralis have everything going for them and it’ll be surprising if compLexity manage to pick up more than 8 rounds.
Complexity’s only hope is winning the pistol rounds and miraculously keeping Astralis’ economy low, which realistically, won’t happen.
Arguably the only reason compLexity qualified for DH Las Vegas is because they faced a laggy Liquid side who were bootcamping in Europe at the time.
Astralis have recently won the Major, ECS Season 2 and reached the final of ELEAGUE season two, whereas compLexity didn’t feature at any of the events.
The Danes will be full of confidence and the chances are they’ll win their opening match with ease.

SK vs TyLoo
Now tier 1 teams have learnt to not underestimate TyLoo, it’s very unlikely the Chinese team will be able to upset SK.
The Brazilians haven’t been at their brilliant best recently, but even with a stand-in they still managed to place third at the Major and ECS season 2.
Now a strong rifler in felps has joined the line-up, SK can revert back to their winning formula of fallen primary AWPing and coldzera picking it up when he fancies.
Not only that, motivation will be high to get off to a good start with their new roster.
Unless TyLoo have improved drastically this will be a pretty one-sided match.

FaZe vs Renegades
Unfortunately, FaZe have just lost Aizy to North and NiKo won’t be playing for them until after the event has finished.
That being said Jkaem is no slouch and has previously played for FaZe so should comfortable slot in the gap left by Aizy.
FaZe currently sit at 4th in HTLV’s world ranking, their best ever to date whereas their opponents, Renegades are 18 places behind, in 22nd.
There’s not only a significant difference in ranking, when it comes to skill and teamwork, FaZe are miles ahead.
The European Mix team are also ahead in terms of impressive LAN finishes, they’ve finished third at IEM Oakland, IBP Masters and ELEAGUE S2.
Because of the difference in skills, results, teamwork and overall experience vs top teams, FaZe should comfortably take the win.
