Betway’s Top 5 eSports Streamers

Streaming has become an integral part of our eSports entertainment, especially for diehard fans hoping to be entertained and educated by the top streamers.

Today we’re bringing you Betway’s Top 5 eSports Streamers who we feel are the most representative of the streaming talent that is out there.

So take a look at our list – you never know, your next favourite may be on there.

Imaqtpie

Let’s start off the list with former Team Dignitas member, Michael “Imaqtpie” Santana.

Everybody loves Imaqtpie so of course he has to be in top spot, and with over a million followers, most of you would agree.

Imaqtpie started playing League of Legends professionally when he joined Rock Solid, replacing OXICLEAN.

Rock Solid went on to win the National ESL Premier League and, of course, Imaqtpie was picked up by Dignitas to be their starting AD carry until October 2014.

He later retired to take on streaming full time and go back to his first love, making video game content.

Although Imaqtpie was known for his AD carry prowess, his streaming and content creating has always shone through, allowing him to appear on shows such as ‘Reflections’.

Most days, his streams offer unique opinions on the LoL community, and he has a huge social media presence across Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Playing professionally has definitely boosted his subscribers and gives his fans the chance to gain skills from the master himself.

If you are hoping to pursue a similar career, Imaqtpie also hosts ‘Beyond the Rift’, frequently talking about his life as a streamer.

Hafu

It would be incredibly easy to commend Rumay “Hafu” Wang on succeeding in such a male-dominated industry.

But it is actually safe to say that the success of her channel stands just as well by itself, with over 400,000 Twitch followers.

Originally, Hafu was best known as a World of Warcraft player in team Fnatic, which got her an invitation into the Hearthstone beta tournaments.

This gave her the chance to become a member of Cloud 9.

One of the eight players invited to the Innkeeper’s Invitational – during Hearthstone’s closed beta – Hafu has certainly earned her place on our list.

She also gained a name for herself after playing a one-on-one, mid-lane dual in LoL against Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg – Team SoloMid‘s star mid-laner – and won.

Her Hearthstone streams mainly focus on Arena play, and she often collaborates with other streamers for co-op runs, as well as using her skills to reach first place at Lord of the Arena 4.

Hearthstone streamer. MLG champion. Dreamhack Winner.

Hafu has it all.

Summit1g

It’s safe to say Jaryd “summit1g” Lazar is experienced when it comes to streaming, so it is little wonder that he has recruited well over a million Twitch followers.

Earlier this year he was ranked #4 for having the most followers on the platform, and #39 for the most viewed channel, with a total of 69,129,913 views.

Summit1g remarkably started off as a stand-in professional player for Professor_Chaos at DreamHack Austin 2016 for Splyce, but decided streaming was the life for him.

Many gamers know his YouTube videos – including the time a SWAT Team was called about his presence whilst he was live streaming Pokémon GO.

If you’re looking for entertainment then he is definitely your guy.

He even has his own subreddit dedicated to his online CS: GO videos.

AdmiralBulldog

If you are in need of an educational streamer to improve your knowledge, then Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” AhnBerg is definitely one to watch.

AdmiralBulldog is a professional Swedish Dota 2 player with a career spanning all the way back to 2012.

At the moment, he is playing with Alliance, winners of The International 2013.

He was originally brought on to the competitive scene by Dendi (Na’Vi) and is known by many for his Lone Druid plays.

Most people will agree that AdmiralBulldog was the backbone of Alliance, and when other players were not working together so well, he adjusted his gameplay accordingly.

AdmiralBulldog left Alliance in August 2016 and is currently without a team, choosing to take a break from competitive play.

So far he has earned $566,042.39 from eSports competition prize money, so certainly has plenty of tips.

Have a look at his Twitch channel to see what you think.

Seagull

Last but not least is the USA’s very own Brandon “Seagull” Larned.

Seagull is a professional Overwatch player as well as an avid streamer. He is one of the members of Mixup who have recently been signed to NRG eSports.

At the beginning of his career Seagull used to compete in the multiplayer version of Half-Life 2, and won the Cyberathlete Amateur League season 3 against LukeGT421 in one of eSports’ most renowned HL2 deathmatches to date.

With well over 300,000 followers and 30,000 viewers every time he streams, it is no surprise that he and his team were signed to NRG.

Seagull’s streams encompass the best of both worlds – fun and educational.

If you are wanting to brush up on your Overwatch skills, then Seagull is the streamer to watch.

Best known for his Roaming Soldier on Team Fortress 2 and his “Inspirational” Genji, Seagull is a force to be reckoned with.
