Here are four IPL betting tips that Guy Giles thinks you should consider for the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings on Thursday.

Lucknow Super Giants to win

Both these teams lost their opening matches, with Chennai comfortably beaten by Kolkata after a poor batting performance. Their batting order looks a little light and they only managed to post 131 thanks to a late charge from MS Dhoni.

Lucknow failed to defend 158 against Gujarat but got nothing out of KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis at the top of the order, so there should be more to come from the newcomers.

They look good value at this price.

Ravindra Jadeja to score over 17.5 runs

Jadeja scored 26 in his first match as Chennai captain after taking over from MS Dhoni before the start of the season.

He has passed this mark in four of his last five innings in all formats.

Deepak Hooda to hit a six

This could be a breakout year for Hooda, who top scored for Lucknow with a rapid 55 in their opener against the Titans.

He strikes at nearly 140 in T20 cricket and cleared the ropes twice on Monday.

Avesh Khan to be Lucknow Super Giants top bowler

Khan finished the 2021 IPL as the second top wicket-taker with 24, and kicked off his 2022 tournament with a wicket against Gujarat.

He’s worth backing to put in another wicket-taking performance against Chennai.
