We will donate £10 for every century made, plus £10 for each point over 100 within the break…
The UK Championship starts on Tuesday and, as title sponsors of the event, we will be donating to World Snooker’s official charity, Jessie May Children’s Hospice At Home.
We will donate £10 every time a century break is made, as well as £10 for each point over 100 within the break. For example, a break of 132 would equal a donation of £320.
A bonus of £1000 will also be donated for each maximum break achieved during the fortnight.
Last year, charity Bluebell Wood received £18,610 after a bumper haul of 104 century breaks, including a 147 from eventual winner Neil Robertson which triggered a further £1000 bonus.
“We are thrilled to see Betway once again making this incredible donation to our official charity,” said World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn.
“Jessie May is a wonderful cause and every penny donated goes towards the great work they do for children and families in the Bristol area. It’s down to the players now to make centuries and hopefully beat last year’s total.”
