NFL tips: Our 6/1 four-fold for Week 2 2019

Texans and Cowboys are among the teams that feature in Jack Green's NFL tips for the second Sunday of the season.

Back any NFL team to win and Betway will pay you out as a winner if they lead by 14 points or more at any time. Here are Jack Green‘s picks for Week 2.

Houston Texans to beat Jacksonville Jaguars {ODDS:467827207:5/23}

The Texans were beaten by a last-second 58-yard field goal in New Orleans last week, but should bounce back against Jacksonville.

There’s no shame in losing so narrowly to the Saints – perhaps the best team in the NFC – and quarterback Deshaun Watson was excellent despite being sacked six times.

Houston will surely win if he plays as well again this week, particularly as the Jaguars will be starting Gardner Minshew, playing in just his second NFL game after replacing the injured Nick Foles last week.

Minshew did fine against the Chiefs but his side were essentially out of the game by the time he came in, and the Texans’ defence is good enough to cause the 23-year-old major problems.

Buffalo Bills to beat New York Giants {ODDS:467826398:4/5}

The Bills scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to beat the Jets last weekend after falling 16-3 behind, and they should make lighter work of New York’s other team on Sunday.

The Giants were thrashed 35-17 by the Dallas Cowboys in their opener. They looked no better than last season, when they won just five games, including just two at home.

New York could struggle to move the ball though the air with starting wide receiver Sterling Shepard injured, and they now face a Buffalo defence that allowed the fewest passing yards in the NFL last year.

Dallas Cowboys to beat Washington Redskins {ODDS:467827005:20/51}

The Cowboys’ win over the Giants was hugely impressive, with quarterback Dak Prescott looking very comfortable in the scheme of new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

Expect more of the same this week, given Dallas have won five of the six meetings between these sides over the last three seasons, scoring over 30 points on four occasions.

It’s hard to see Washington getting close to that mark this week. They started well against the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday but faded badly, losing 32-27 after being outscored 25-7 in the second half.

Denver Broncos to beat Chicago Bears {ODDS:467828470:5/4}

The Bears made an awful start to the season last Thursday, losing 10-3 at home to fierce rivals the Green Bay Packers.

Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky struggled against the Packers defence and now faces one of the toughest away trips in the NFL.

Denver have a huge advantage at home in the early stages of the season as teams struggle to acclimatise to the altitude at Mile High. They have won their last 12 home games in September.

While the Bears are probably the better team here, that record is simply too good to bet against and the Broncos look great value at an odds-against price.
