After getting four out of four right last weekend, we're back with another batch of bets to fill your accumulator...
Seattle Seahawks to beat Green Bay Packers – {ODDS:124916137:5/8}
The Seahawks thrashed the Carolina Panthers 40-7, and could clinch a playoff spot with another win on Sunday.
Their opponents, the Packers, are not the offensive powerhouse that they used to be.
Their passing attack is dangerous, but they currently rank 24th in rushing yards per game.
Green Bay’s struggles running the ball will hurt them against Seattle, who have conceded fewer touchdowns through the air than all but three sides.
The Seahawks have allowed just 16.2 points per game this season – the league’s lowest mark – and have won four of their last five games.
Miami Dolphins to beat Arizona Cardinals – {ODDS:124915157:11/10}
Miami’s run of six consecutive wins was ended by the Baltimore Ravens last week, but they should return to form against a Cardinals team that has been out of sorts this season.
Arizona have only picked up two wins from their last six, although one of those was as recent as last week against the Washington Redskins.
But although the Cardinals have been one of the league’s best offensive sides in recent years, this season they are ranked a disappointing 17th when it comes to scoring.
In fact, the Dolphins have actually averaged more points over the last seven games than their Sunday opponents.
Miami also rank 12th in yards per play compared to the Cardinals’ position of 20th, and will also benefit from playing at home this weekend.
They have won five and lost just one of their games in Miami this season, while the Cardinals’ Week-5 win over the San Francisco 49ers is their only victory on the road to date.
New York Jets to beat San Francisco 49ers – {ODDS:124915977:13/10}
There are only a few teams that have been worse than the Jets this season, but the 49ers are certainly one of them.
Currently bottom of the NFC West with just one win, they have lost 11 in a row and conceded 30.8 points per game – more than any other team.
San Francisco lost by 20 points last week to the similarly terrible Chicago Bears. They simply should not be favourites against anyone.
And while the Jets have problems of their own – particularly offensively – their superior defence means they should earn their fourth win of the season.
Running the ball may be the 49ers’ strength, but the Jets have allowed fewer yards on the ground than all but three teams this year.
New England Patriots to beat Baltimore Ravens – {ODDS:124916623:1/3}
This is a meeting of two of the NFL’s best defences.
The Patriots and Ravens have each allowed an average of 17.3 points per game this season, tying for the second-lowest mark in the league.
So Monday night’s game should come down to which team has the more potent attack, and New England have a clear edge on that side of the ball.
They are averaging 26.6 points per game – the league’s sixth-highest mark – while the Ravens rank 22nd.
The Patriots have only lost one of the eight games since quarterback Tom Brady returned from suspension in Week 5.
The two-time MVP leads all players in quarterback rating, and the Pats are averaging 29.8 points and 308.8 passing yards and with him starting.
