Oakland’s rookie quarterback Connor Cook has never started an NFL game, and that should prove to be a huge hindrance for a passing attack that relied heavily upon injured starter Derek Carr all season.

The Texans managed nine wins this season despite his poor play, though, and their superior defence means they are equipped to shut the Raiders down here.
Only the Denver Broncos have allowed fewer passing yards per game than Houston, and playing at home is also a major advantage.
The Texans have won seven of their eight games at home this season, losing only to the San Diego Chargers in Week 12.
Seattle Seahawks to beat Detroit Lions – {ODDS:128861879:10/39}
Detroit stumbled into the playoffs after closing the season with three consecutive defeats, and that should become four against a Seahawks team that are formidable at home.
They won seven of their eight regular-season games in Seattle this year, and they haven’t lost in the playoffs at CenturyLink Field since 2005.
The Lions’ previously prolific offense has stuttered of late, averaging just 17 points per game over the past three weeks.
That doesn’t bode well for them this weekend, considering the Seahawks have conceded fewer points this season than all but two teams.
Seattle have actually outscored the Lions this season, and another deep playoff run is looking likely for the 2014 Super Bowl champions.
Pittsburgh Steelers to beat Miami Dolphins – {ODDS:128861973:5/26}
Miami triumphed when these teams met earlier this season, sparking a six-game winning streak that vaulted them into playoff contention.
The Steelers are much improved since then, though. They have won seven consecutive games, a run that included a high-pressure AFC North title decider against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Dolphins, meanwhile, will likely struggle in the absence of injured quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who tore his ACL in Week 14.
With replacement Matt Moore under centre, they beat the New York Jets and scraped through an overtime game against the Buffalo Bills, but were comfortably beaten by the New England Patriots last Sunday.
They have conceded over 30 points in each of the last two games, and the Steelers – who rank 10th offensively this season – should be the latest team to hit that mark.
New York Giants to beat Green Bay Packers – {ODDS:128862068:9/5}
A risky pick, perhaps, but the Giants have a history of causing upsets in the playoffs, particularly in Green Bay.
They beat the Packers at Lambeau Field on the way to winning the Super Bowl in both 2008 and 2011.
And while Green Bay triumphed when these teams met earlier this season, New York have turned their campaign around since then, winning nine of their last 11.
The Packers won six consecutive games to close the regular season out.
But the Giants have conceded the second fewest points in the NFL this season, and held their opponents under 20 in five of the last seven weeks.
They are better defensively than any team that Green Bay have faced during that unbeaten streak, and at this price, they are a good bet to win here and advance to the divisional round.
