The four-year-old has been on a steady incline this term and beat Kuwait Currency off level weights at Kempton Park in September. Today, he receives 2lb from that rival.
He was beaten last time out by Dubai Warrior, who is rated 107 following that victory, and could be very tough to beat off a mark of 99 here.
At a much bigger price, it wouldn’t be the biggest surprise if CIRCUS COUTURE outran his price off a mark of 90, who also has a talented rider in Ray Dawson claiming an extra 5lb on his back.
It’s yet to be seen if he is back to his best, as he’s not performed well since his victory at Nottingham in June, but if this somewhat complicated seven-year-old is ready to go, then he could be worth watching with a close eye.
