There's a bumper day of racing to look forward to on Saturday and we have picked out four bets across the UK and Ireland in a Lucky 15.
There’s plenty going on this Saturday, with nine meetings taking place across Britain and Ireland, with Newbury providing the Premier action in Britain.
The Curragh hosts an intriguing card in Ireland and the main event there are the Group 3 double of the Irish St. Leger Trial and the Royal Whip Stakes.
Newbury’s seven-race card looks very competitive and the Group 2 Hungerford Stakes is well supported by the Group 3 Geoffrey Freer Stakes and some handicap action.
Here are our best horse racing betting tips to fill out your Lucky 15.
Saturday Lucky 15 racing tips
13:50 Newbury – Pinhole @ 15/8
15:27 Curragh – Los Angeles @ 5/6
15:35 Newbury – Witness Stand @ 4/1
16:37 Curragh – Puppet Master @ 11/10
13:50 Newbury – Pinhole @ 15/8
Ralph Beckett’s Pinhole left his debut effort well behind him to win a novice at Southwell back in December and he’s been highly tried since.
He looked in need of the run when fourth behind dual-Derby winner Lambourn in the Chester Vase and wasn’t ready at Royal Ascot next time out.
The son of Frankel was far too good for them in handicap company over 1m4f at Ascot last time and produced a powerful finishing effort to pull five-and-a-half lengths clear of the runner-up.
He should be up to winning at this level on that evidence and the three-year-old has scope for further improvement.
15:27 Curragh – Los Angeles @ 5/6
The form book tells us that Aidan O’Brien’s Los Angeles should be far too good for his five rivals here.
Ryan Moore heads over to ride a horse who won the Irish Derby as a three-year-old. This son of Camelot is probably better over 1m4f, but he’s won twice over this trip this season and can get away with it here.
It was a pretty disappointing display in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes last time out, only finishing fifth despite being well fancied, but this is a much easier race and it’ll be disappointing if he fails to do the business.
He’s a Group 1 horse in a Group 3 race and a return to winning ways should be on the agenda.
15:35 Newbury – Witness Stand @ 4/1
Witness Stand is comfortably the highest rated runner in the field and may have been unfairly overlooked with that in mind.
He produced a career-best performance to win the Lennox Stakes with ease at Goodwood last time out and will be hard to beat if turning up in similar form here.
It’s also worth noting that this gelding was an impressive winner in Listed company over course and distance last autumn.
Consistency maybe isn’t his forte, but his best form puts him head and shoulders above the rest of the field.
16:37 Curragh – Puppet Master @ 11/10
Aidan O’Brien was utterly dominant in the Derby trials earlier on in the season and Puppet Master produced a game display to win at Lingfield back in May.
He got the better of a very lightly raced but potentially smart stablemate Stay True and shaped like a stayer in the making.
Things didn’t go to plan in the Irish Derby, as he was slow to get going and couldn’t keep up them when the pace quickened.
Going up to 1m6f for the first time here, his profile suggests the extra couple of furlongs will suit and it’s unlikely that we’ve seen the best of him as yet.
