Saturday racing tips: Best bets for Kempton and Warwick
With money back as a free bet up to £20 in all ITV races if your horse finishes second, our tipster reveals his best horse racing tips for the weekend.
A decent Listed Race to kick things off, where I think BLACK CORTON looks a good bet to get back to winning ways.
He enjoyed a superb run of form with Bryony Frost in the saddle, winning seven from a possible eight, including the 2017 Kauto Star Chase.
He struggled to replicate that form at Cheltenham and Aintree as a long season took its toll.
However, a decent effort when runner-up to Definitly Red in the Charlie Hall Chase was a good way to open the season, and I think he can go one better here.
There are potentially some decent novices' here, but the one that’s sticking out to me is TIDAL FLOW .
He's three from a possible four so far and was particularly impressive last time out at Newbury where he beat a strong field.
He stays well and genuinely looks like he’s improving, so I’m hoping Richard Johnson can triumph in this Grade 2.
The Lanzarote Hurdle is up next and I’m keen on the chances of ERICK LE ROUGE for the Williams team.
A course-and-distance victory on Boxing Day deserves a lot of praise, where he beat the likes of Ballyandy, The Sweeney and Who’s My Jockey.
Chester Williams has been superb on board having recorded three wins and a second.
He should have a good each-way shout as he bids to complete a four-timer.
For the final tip, I'm backing BALLYKAN to finally claim that elusive win.
The nine-year-old is without a win since August 2016 but has been showing signs of his best form, finished second in his last three.
The standout performance among those efforts came here behind Master Dee last February.
He stays the 3m and is nicely-handicapped in this field, so should go close.
