Saturday horse racing tips for Ascot, Newmarket and Wolverhampton 02 10 21

Chad Yeomans selects his three best bets from Saturday's racecards, including runners at Ascot and Newmarket.

13:30 ASCOT – With Thanks (each-way) {ODDS:805647001:4/1}

With Thanks hasn’t had the season her connections would have wanted, but she has found a nice opportunity to get off the mark.

She loves soft ground, so her trainer William Haggas will be praying the heavens open. She was dropped 5lb for a very good fifth at Newbury in a much stronger race last time out and should go very well for an in-form team.

Another horse to mention in the same race is Bounce The Blues, who has had a break and gets her favoured soft ground. She’s a very talented horse, who I also expect to go very close.

16:40 NEWMARKET – Bellazada (each-way) {ODDS:805647472:12/1}

Having had just the three starts this season, Bellazada enters the closing stages as a relatively fresh horse. A winner on her seasonal debut over a mile on this course, she wasn’t able to progress in two starts since on ground that she would have found much too quick.

Back on a slower surface and down in trip, I think the Brian Meehan-trained filly is going to give a very good showing.

19:00 WOLVERHAMPTON – Volatile Analyst (each-way) {ODDS:805651568:SP}

A noted horse to follow of mine at the start of the season, Volatile Analyst has had a good season. He won a good handicap at York and has run well in other big races without winning.

He ran a cracker in the Ayr Gold Cup a few weeks ago and has been dropped a further 2lb for that. Off a mark of 96, I expect him to be able to go very close off a front running ride under Barry McHugh.
