Jonbon’s record exemplifies his relentless consistency and class. He’s among the standout two-mile chasers in modern National Hunt racing, with 10 Grade 1 victories making him a genuine fan favourite. Impressively, going into the 2025 National Hunt season, he has never finished outside the first two dating back to his debut in 2021. He is a top-class runner, especially across 2 miles.

What is Jonbon’s race record?

Jonbon is about as consistent as they come with a 72 per cent win rate, and his best seasons seeing him dominate the big chases, showcasing his speed and unshakeable temperament. His sustained success really took off in the 2023–2024 season, which stands out as his peak: multiple Grade 1 wins, and a horse you can almost always count on to run his race unphased.

What are Jonbon’s major wins?

Jonbon has built a reputation as one of the top two-mile chasers in National Hunt racing, and his record at the biggest events speaks for itself. He’s consistently competed at the highest level, often against the very best in the sport, and has a string of impressive victories to his name.

While Jonbon has yet to claim a Festival win, he has been highly competitive at Cheltenham, coming close and finishing second in top races:

  • Supreme Novices’ Hurdle: Early in his career, he showed promise by running well in one of the Festival’s most prestigious races.

His performances at Cheltenham have made him a horse to watch for the 2026 edition…
