Andrew Balding Betway blog: Newmarket runners 29 10 22

The Betway ambassador previews his five runners at Newmarket on Saturday.

Saturday at Newmarket

Britannica {ODDS:1028324920:SP} is having her first start (13:03). She’s a lovely filly by Lope De Vega, and promises to be better next year. She’ll come on a bundle for the run and will want further in time but getting experience into her will be key.

Enborne {ODDS:1028328114:SP} is by Tamayuz and has similar sentiments to Britannica. She’s a lovely filly, and we’re looking forward to giving her some experience, but she will improve for racing and will want further in time (13:38).

Notre Belle Bete {ODDS:1028328124:SP} has been waiting for a little give in the ground (15:23). He’s been solid for us since he joined the yard, and this looks like a good opportunity for him to be competitive again.

Sisyphus Strength {ODDS:1028324941:SP} won well at Nottingham last time. Like a lot of these fillies, you don’t quite know what they’ve achieved. Sometimes, maiden form can be as strong as Group form, but you won’t know until it gets proven down the line. She’s been good at home, though. She’s working to a high standard and we’re looking forward to seeing her run (15:58).

Nobel {ODDS:1028324951:SP} is a horse we rate highly and is now two-from-two in his career. He’s pleased us in his comeback from his injury and won well at Epsom on his season reappearance. The conditions shouldn’t be a problem for him, although I do think he’ll want further in time. This is a step up in class, but he’s always shown us that he might be able to compete at stakes level (16:33).
