We’ve brought together three Hammers fans from the We Are West Ham podcast who will provide #BetYourWay football tips for every West Ham game in the Premier League this season in an attempt to win money for a charity that is close to their hearts.
The podcast is run by three Hammers fans: Will Pugh, James Jones and Reece Bayliss.
We will place a £50 bet on each of their selections, with all profits donated to the charity of their choice. This year, the lads will be donating to Isla’s Fight, DT38 and Bobby Moore Fund.
The We Are West Ham podcast was born out of a live Hammers radio show that James Jones and Will Pugh used to broadcast to the nation.
On Sunday, West Ham welcome Aston Villa to the London Stadium. The Hammers played very well in defeat against Liverpool last Saturday, while Steven Gerrard’s men have now won their last two and will be looking to finish in the top half of the table.
Will Pugh: Both teams to score, Craig Dawson to score anytime, both teams to have 2+ corners in the first half
Will says: “I know I’ve been loyal to Dawson this season, but I can’t get away from how good we are from set-pieces. Villa look like they’re starting to get it all together, and it should be a good clash.”
James Jones: Over 2.5 goals, Kurt Zouma to score anytime, Michail Antonio to have 2+ shots on target
James says: “I think Antonio is coming back to form as we’ve seen recently, and I think he’ll give their back line something to worry about. It’s also about time Zouma got on the scoresheet.”
Reece Bayliss: Both teams to score, a penalty to be awarded, over 4.5 Aston Villa corners
Reece says: “I think they’re going to be tough to turn over. They’re going to attack us as they did against Southampton last week.”
