Charity #BetYourWay: Leeds v West Ham football tips
For every West Ham game this season, three well-known Hammers fans will give their football tips to try and win money for charity.
We've brought together three Hammers fans from the We Are West Ham podcast who will provide #BetYourWay football tips for every West Ham game in the Premier League this season in an attempt to win money for a charity that is close to their hearts.
The podcast is run by three Hammers fans: Will Pugh, James Jones and Tom Edwards.
We will place a £50 bet on each of their selections, with all profits donated to the charity of their choice. This year, the lads will be donating to Isla’s Fight, DT38 and Bobby Moore Fund.
The We Are West Ham podcast was born out of a live Hammers radio show that James Jones and Will Pugh used to broadcast to the nation.
New boy Tom Edwards joined the team last season as We Are West Ham continue to deliver engaging features, well-connected journalists, and famous guests from East London and beyond. Come on you Irons.
This week, the Hammers face a tricky away trip to newly-promoted Leeds, who have only managed to win one of their last five games despite creating a load of chances.
Will Pugh: West Ham to score first, over 2.5 goals
Will says: "It’s going to be a wide-open game and you know that Leeds will create plenty of chances. We’ve been solid at the back and good on the counter, so I do think we’ll see goals in this tie."
James Jones: Both teams to score, over 3.5 goals, over 9.5 total corners
James says: "We were a little hard done by against Man Utd last week, but I don’t think that’ll dampen the spirits too much - it was a good performance. You know what you’re going to get from both sides here and we’re just hoping for a bit of luck!"
Tom Edwards: Match to be a draw, both teams to score, Said Benrahma to score anytime
Tom says: "I think it’ll be honours even by the end of the game. We’re going to set up strong at the back and play them on the counter. While Leeds have been good to watch this season, they’ve conceded the third-highest amount of goals, so they do have vulnerabilities."
