For every West Ham game this season, three well-known Hammers fans will give their football tips to try and win money for charity.
We’ve brought together three Hammers fans who will provide #BetYourWay football tips for every West Ham Premier League game this season, in an attempt to win money for a charity that is close to their hearts.
Along with Geo from Hammers Chat and The Ribman, we welcome our friends from West Ham Fans FC as new tipsters for this season.
We will place a £50 bet on each of their selections, with all profits donated to Isla’s Fight.
Betway will be matching all profits as a donation, with last year’s total getting boosted to £5,000 and presented to Isla’s family before the charity match at Aveley in May.
Hammers Chat got the 2019/20 fund up and running with a 9/2 winner on the victory at Watford in August. His profit of £225 will be doubled by us to make a starting total of £450.
Here are the three fans’ football tips for West Ham v Sheffield United:
@WestHamFansFC: Both teams to score, Sebastien Haller and Andriy Yarmolenko to score, Robert Snodgrass to be carded
West Ham Fans FC are the official West Ham United supporters’ team and starred in Betway’s Academy of Football. They play fans from other teams throughout the season and you can follow their progress on their Twitter account. New players are also welcome to get in touch.
Manager Matt Dilworth says: “Despite the trip to Everton I’ll keep the faith and go for goals from Haller and Yarmolenko.
“I think Snodgrass could get a look in this week and he could end up in the ref’s notebook. Unfortunately I can’t see us keeping a clean sheet, though.”
@hammers_chat: Draw, under 2.5 goals, over 4.5 Sheff Utd corners, over 2.5 cards
Geo is representing Hammers Chat, a West Ham forum – made by fans for fans – with their own YouTube channel.
Geo says: “It’s hard to be confident after the recent results for each team.
“I don’t expect many goals. Seven of Sheffield United’s nine league games have been under 2.5 goals and they remain unbeaten on the road in four.”
@theribman: Correct score: 1-1, West Ham to score first, over 3.5 cards
Mark Gevaux, “The Ribman”, is back outside the stadium! He will also be outside Hackney Wick overground station near the London Stadium for every West Ham United game.
Mark says: “I think this is the first time I haven’t tipped a West Ham win. This is a tricky game and I think we’ll get a point.”
