Gordon out to shine against boyhood heroes
Despite spending six years at Everton, Anthony Gordon admits to being a Liverpool fan when he was younger and has been recently linked with a move to Anfield.
The England international has enjoyed some success in recent meetings with the Reds, including scoring in last season’s draw on Tyneside.
Gordon was also on the scoresheet the previous season, only for a late Darwin Nunez double to snatch all three points for the visitors.
