Here are four football tips that Jack Green thinks you should consider for Liverpool v Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

Liverpool to win to nil

Liverpool have won all 15 of their home league matches this season and have conceded just 12 goals in the process.

The Reds kept clean sheets in five of their last seven league games at Anfield before the season was suspended and should do so against the Premier League’s joint-second lowest scorers on Wednesday night.

Under 2.5 goals

Palace have won four consecutive league matches without conceding a goal, so they should manage to make things difficult for Liverpool.

The Reds were held by Everton in a 0-0 draw at the weekend and were not close to their best in attack.

Under 1.5 first-half goals

Ten of the 11 matches played since the Premier League restarted have seen fewer than two goals scored in the first half.

Seven of those games were 0-0 at half-time, so it’s fair to expect another slow start at Anfield on Wednesday.

Sadio Mane to score first

Mane has scored 14 Premier League goals this season and has broken the deadlock five times, which is more than any of his Liverpool team-mates.

The Senegal international has scored in all five of his appearances against Palace as a Liverpool player, including the opener at Selhurst Park in November.
