Cherries to share the spoils with Villa
Bournemouth have relied heavily on their home form this season, losing only two of their 12 top-flight matches at the Vitality Stadium.
The Cherries find themselves in good form, winning three of their last four games in the league, but they have drawn four times on home soil this season and will be put to the test by high-flying Aston Villa.
Villa will be keen to put Sunday’s defeat to Brentford behind them, especially away from home, where they have been a force with just three defeats in 12.
This fixture has ended in a draw in two of the last five meetings and it should be close again.
Leg 1: Bournemouth vs Aston Villa draw @ 13/5
Gunners should prove too strong for visitors
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal put their disappointment of losing to Manchester United behind them with a routine 4-0 defeat of Leeds, and they should have no issues when Sunderland head to north London.
The Gunners boast the joint-best home record in the league with Manchester City, winning nine of their 12 games and losing just once, and they have the added incentive of knowing a win will move them nine points clear of the Citizens, who don’t play until Sunday.
Sunderland have been brilliant at home, but their away record is alarming, and a trip to the Emirates is the last thing they need to change their fortunes. They have won just two of their 12 games on the road, yielding just six goals in the process.
Leg 2: Arsenal to beat Sunderland @ 2/9
Blues can be ruthless once again
Chelsea showed their character when coming from 2-0 down to beat West Ham 3-2 on Saturday and a trip to rock-bottom Wolves should hold no fears for Liam Rosenior’s side.
Only Arsenal and Aston Villa have picked up more points on the road than Chelsea this season and the Blues should be full of confidence despite a midweek EFL Cup defeat to the Gunners, as they had won five on the bounce prior to that disappointment.
Wolves are winless in four against Chelsea and last season’s corresponding ended in a resounding 6-2 success for the Blues.
Time is running out for the home side to stay up, especially as they have yet to win in 12 league outings at Molineux this term.
Leg 3: Chelsea to beat Wolves @ 7/10
A point apiece in relegation six-pointer
West Ham’s two-game winning streak came to an end at Chelsea on Saturday, but their first-half performance was full of positives.
However, Burnley are also in need of points and both sides have to go for broke, but that could end up in the points being shared.
Three of the last five games between these two have ended level, while Burnley have drawn four times at Turf Moor in the league this season and West Ham have shared the spoils on four occasions on their travels.
Leg 4: Burnley vs West Ham draw @ 12/5
