There are five Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and we have picked out a four-fold for the action, which includes a surprise in the late kick-off.
There are five Premier League matches to get stuck into on Saturday, with implications at both ends of the table.
The standout tie sees title hopefuls Manchester City travel to Leeds United in the late game at 5.30pm, when the visitors will be looking to put the pressure on leaders Arsenal once again, while the hosts need the points in their battle against the drop.
Earlier in the day, in-form Bournemouth entertain out-of-sorts Sunderland in the early kick-off, before Liverpool face West Ham, Everton travel to Newcastle and Burnley take on Brentford at 3pm.
We have put together an accumulator for Saturday’s matches which pays at more than 19/1 in the Premier League odds, if successful.
Saturday’s Premier League tips
- Brentford to beat Burnley @ 3/4
- Liverpool to beat West Ham @ 17/40
- Newcastle to beat Everton @ 7/10
- Leeds to beat Manchester City @ 15/4
A fourfold pays more than 19/1
Bees look good to beat struggling Burnley
Brentford were beaten 2-0 by Brighton last weekend, but that defeat was a minor blip in what has been an excellent season so far.
The Bees have won eight of their last 13 games and that excellent run has included victories over Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Newcastle United as well as a draw with league leaders Arsenal.
The Brentford model continues to churn out good results and the west Londoners shouldn’t have any issue getting past Burnley at Turf Moor.
Leg 1: Brentford to beat Burnley @ 3/4
Resurgent Reds can quell Irons spirit
It’s five wins in six games for Liverpool, who have found their stride with their only defeat in that sequence an unfortunate 2-1 loss to Manchester City.
Arne Slot’s side have conceded only seven shots on target in their last three games and the Merseyside men seem to have remedied their defensive issues.
West Ham are battling for Premier League survival and are a spirited side. However, the Irons have won only three top-flight games away all season and Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have scored just 13 goals in their last 12 away games.
Liverpool should be far too strong at Anfield.
Leg 2: Liverpool to beat West Ham @ 17/40
Rested Magpies can down Toffees
Newcastle had the luxury to rest their roster in midweek and Tuesday night’s Champions League tie shouldn’t have a negative impact on the Magpies.
Eddie Howe’s side have won four of their last five games, scored 14 goals on that good run and hit 29 shots on target in their last three games.
It’s back-to-back defeats for Everton, who have scored only one goal in games against Everton and Manchester United and they are unlikely to trouble the Toon Army at St James’ Park.
Leg 3: Newcastle to beat Everton @ 7/10
Home fortress can help Leeds shock
Leeds United have lost only two of their last 16 games and the Whites are clearly a difficult side to beat.
Manchester City are chasing the Premier League title, but last weekend’s 2-1 victory over Newcastle wasn’t convincing and a rowdy Elland Road could put Pep Guardiola’s men under pressure.
Daniel Farke has built a robust and spirited team and Leeds look overpriced in this spot, particularly having nearly upset the odds in a last-gasp 3-2 defeat in the reverse fixture.
Leg 4: Leeds to beat Manchester City @ 15/4
