Goals likely in derby clash
Michael Carrick could not have been handed a much more difficult task first up as Manchester United manager with a home game against arch-rivals City, but the Red Devils should at least be positive for the interim gaffer’s opening match.
Both teams have found the net in eight of the Red Devils’ last nine league matches and while they were outclassed in a 3-0 defeat at the Etihad earlier in the season, they will be mindful that City have conceded in six of their 10 away league games this term.
Add to that the fact the Citizens have drawn their last three games to allow Arsenal to open a six-point lead at the top of the table, then goals should be on the agenda at Old Trafford.

Fulham unlikely to sit back
Leeds are doing a great job in ensuring their stay in the Premier League is extended beyond a solitary season and their strong home form has helped them open a handy eight-point gap to third-from-bottom West Ham.
The Whites have lost just twice at Elland Road this term and after they were beaten by two injury-time goals in a 4-3 loss at Newcastle last time out, they could be in for another stirring encounter against Fulham on Saturday.
The Cottagers are unbeaten in six and with both teams scoring in seven of the Cottagers’ last nine outings, there is scope for that pattern to continue on their visit to West Yorkshire.

Eagles still feeling the pace
Crystal Palace’s gruelling schedule came to a frustrating end when they fell to an FA Cup defeat to non-league Macclesfield last week, and there could be no respite for the Eagles when they head to Sunderland.
Palace are without a win in the nine games they have played since December 14 and that record looks unlikely to improve at the Stadium of Light, where the Black Cats have yet to be beaten this season.
The Wearsiders have failed to win any of their last six games in 90 minutes, but they look to be facing the Londoners at just the right time to put an end to that barren run.
Leg 3: Sunderland to beat Crystal Palace @ 17/10
Gunners can go marching on
Premier League leaders Arsenal were held to a goalless draw in their last league game against Liverpool, but they should return to winning ways when they make the trip to Nottingham Forest in Saturday’s late offering.
The Gunners posted five straight wins before that draw against the Reds and a 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa is their only defeat since a 1-0 Anfield reverse at the end of August.
Forest would love to establish a bigger gap between themselves and the bottom three, and while a 2-1 victory at West Ham last time out could prove priceless, they lost four on the bounce before that and are unlikely to keep Mikel Arteta’s side in check.
Leg 4: Arsenal to beat Nottingham Forest @ 11/20
