Premier League: A 7/1 bet builder for Brentford v Liverpool

After rediscovering their groove in Europe during the week, Liverpool will be looking to end a three-game losing run in the Premier League when they visit Brentford in Saturday's late game.

Liverpool bounced back from their defeat to Manchester United with a goal-glut in Europe in midweek and Arne Slot’s side appear set for another entertaining night when they go to the Gtech Community Stadium to face Brentford in the Premier League late Saturday.

The Reds have lost their last three in the league, each after getting themselves back on level terms only to fall behind again, and they will not want a fourth successive league defeat – a fate that hasn’t befallen them since the early 1990s.

Brentford are slowly finding their groove under Keith Andrews after a shaky start to the season. The Bees have won two of their last three games and looked good at West Ham on Monday – albeit the Hammers were poor.

Liverpool cut loose in midweek and another goal-fest may ensue in west London where we have an 7/1 bet builder.

Brentford v Liverpool Bet Builder Tips

  • Liverpool to win @ 7/10
  • Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/20
  • Igor Thiago 1+ Shots on target @ 11/20
  • Michael Kayode 1+ Shots @ 6/5

Pays out at 7/1

Reds to avoid more capital misery

Slot’s side have lost their last four league games in London and won’t want any further damage inflicted in the capital.

Sunday’s home loss against arch-rivals United was chastening but with the woodwork aiding the Red Devils – allied to some wasteful finishing – it could easily have been different.

Brentford are finding their way under Andrews but aren’t yet consistent – with a Premier League form guide showing LWLDLWLW so far.

They met little resistance from West Ham on Monday but it should be different against the champions and Liverpool are fancied to make it six straight Premier League wins over the Bees.

Leg 1: Liverpool to win @ 7/10

Goals on the agenda

Liverpool have scored 12 times in their four most recent wins against Brentford and they have netted 10 times in their four Premier League visits to this ground.

The midweek Champions League game at Frankfurt showed they still have the finishing touch.

Brentford have only failed to score once in eight Premier League games, while Liverpool have just two clean sheets in eight.

Leg 2: Over 2.5 goals @ 11/20

Thiago a danger to the Reds

Igor Thiago impressed with 18 goals for Club Brugge in the Jupiler League during the 2023/24 season and after an injury-hit first year at Brentford, he has now found his feet with five goals in eight games.

The 24-year-old is industrious and should engineer some chances against a Liverpool rearguard that isn’t reliable right now.

His 50 per-cent shot accuracy means he’s likely to hit the target when a chance comes along.

Leg 3: Igor Thiago 1+ Shots on Target @ 11/20

Kayode a menace for visitors

After impressing during a loan spell from Fiorentina last season, Michael Kayode made a permanent move to the Bees in the summer.

The Italian full-back really got after West Ham on Monday night and helped to fashion seven chances for his teammates.

The best way for Brentford to get after Liverpool will be to try and expose frailties at the back. If Kayode once more finds himself marauding forward he may get the chance to shoot up against either Milos Kerkez or Andy Robertson, both noted for going on the attack themselves.

Leg 4: Michael Kayode 1+ Shots @ 6/5
